This bus is fantastic. The driver is nice and approachable, and we plan to stick with Acadmy from here on out.

On Sunday, November 7th, 2021, a group of Academy buses, escorted by NJ State Troopers with their sirens blaring, were heading south on the NJ Turnpike. They mostly occupied the shoulder. I assume these buses were en route to the airport with the NFL Raiders after the game. I needed to take the same exit, and three different Academy drivers attempted to force me off the road instead of letting me exit safely. Their driving was reckless and nearly led to a serious crash just because they didn’t want to let me go in front of them. They honked and accelerated dangerously while I was trying to exit. Honestly, these drivers are the absolute worst. I used to take a bus to NYC regularly and would NEVER choose an Academy bus. They’re just awful.

Academy Bus, funded by taxpayer dollars from New Jersey Transit, has made the decision to empower their drivers to stop the bus and contact law enforcement on any passenger who refuses to comply with an unconstitutional mask mandate, even if they can't wear one.

I had a chat with their rep, Jody, on Thursday about drivers getting aggressive and trying to enforce rules that only real cops should handle. There was even an incident where a driver physically shoved an elderly passenger between the seats for objecting, while cursing and yelling at him. Jody called me back today, 08/27/21, to smugly tell me that her supervisor insists it’s the law and that we don’t have to ride with them if we don’t like it.

Can you believe that? The tax-paying commuter, who keeps their struggling company afloat, can just be told to take a hike or face arrest for not complying. It’s a truly disgusting and pathetic response. I’m calling for an immediate cut to their taxpayer funding.

The operator of bus 6722, whose last name I can't recall, was truly excellent. My buddy was running a bit late due to an Uber issue, and the driver was cool enough to wait for him. He was super friendly and had a great sense of humor, chatting with us and sharing stories about housing and other things.

Unfortunately, we couldn't go on our trip this past week. Jennifer was super helpful and always there for us during the planning. We'll definitely reach out again next year! Thanks a bunch!

The Academy bus showed up right on schedule at my school. The driver was super professional and really attentive to my needs as the band director, as well as those of my students. She ensured we had safe rides to the event and back to school. Access to the bus was a breeze once we got to the venue. The bus itself was clean and well-maintained. The cost for the service was fair and reasonable. I’ve got no complaints about Academy. I’ve used their transport before, and if I need it again, I won’t hesitate to call them up.

The drivers were amazing—punctual, super friendly, and really patient! The buses were clean too. The booking agent was super helpful and gave us all the info we needed. We’ll definitely be using them again!

We had an awesome time with Academy and our driver, Earl! Huge thanks to the entire crew who made this trip happen and got us on our way. Earl was a real lifesaver, always there when we needed to shift things around, ensuring we made it through the whole journey safely and right on schedule.

The drivers were really attentive and showed a high level of professionalism. Their communication skills were top-notch too. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and if we find ourselves in the area again, we'll definitely choose Academy once more.

Teaming up with Academy was a fantastic experience right from the first call to set things up, all the way to when the bus drivers returned us to school. The drivers from Academy (we had four buses) were punctual and very professional. They drove carefully and were well aware of the routes. One of our drivers even had a suitable movie for the DVD player on the bus. We've been using Academy for our field trips for six years now, and we ain't stopping anytime soon.

Andrea Scott has been incredibly supportive in getting everything ready for our concert tour with Academy. She's always so helpful and friendly. We've had Esther Pettiford as our driver for less than a day, but she's already shown herself to be warm, generous, and super accommodating.

We ran into a wifi issue, but she quickly got someone on the line who sorted it out. There's also an a-c issue, although she mentioned it was working fine on her quick trip down to Orlando. She's taking it in for repairs today since it's a light travel day. I have a feeling she won't stop until everything's sorted. I'm sure she'll keep being a really kind and attentive driver for us.

Had a fantastic journey with Academy Coach. The driver showed up ahead of time, was super friendly, and got us to our spot fast and safe. The coach bus was spotless and felt brand new.
